2021 NFPW Conference

Little Rock, Arkansas

Y’all come!

Save the dates of June 10-12, 2021, for the NFPW Conference in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Arkansas Press Women invites you to Arkansas in 2021 for the NFPW Conference.  Led by co-chairs Kristin Netterstrom Higgins and Debbie Miller, the APW conference team is back at work, planning to share inspiring speakers and the best of Arkansas hospitality with you in June. Our goal is to take the great conference we planned for 2020 up a notch to make it a gathering you simply can’t miss!

We are revisiting our list of speakers and topics to make sure they are relevant for today’s world and asking what else we can offer to make this conference an exceptional value for NFPW members. We are using the same criteria to review our plans for social activities and pre- and post-conference tours.

We are also working to ensure that attending the conference in Arkansas is as safe as possible for everyone. Although we hope that the spread of COVID-19 will be controlled well before June, we are staying mindful of the virus as we plan the conference. We will monitor guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and from the Arkansas Department of Health and will follow their recommendations.

The Wyndham Riverfront, the conference hotel, follows corporate and state safety protocols for the protection of its guests and we will coordinate with them to do everything we can to keep you safe.

Our hotel is just minutes from Clinton National Airport, which is served by the following major airlines: American, Delta, United, Allegiant, Frontier, and Southwest. Please check the airlines’ websites for information about their safety protocols before booking your flight.

As we work to pull together a stimulating and safe conference, we hope that you will add the 2021 NFPW Conference to your calendar now. As you plan, remember:

  • Pre-conference tours are scheduled all day on Wednesday, June 9, and in the morning on June 10.
  • The Conference begins at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, and ends on Saturday evening, June 12.
  • The post-conference tour begins on Sunday, June 13, and ends on Tuesday, June 15.
Many more details about the 2021 Conference will be shared in future newsletters, upcoming issues of Agenda, and periodic conference e-blasts beginning soon.
We look forward to seeing you in Arkansas in June. It’s been way too long since you’ve been to visit!
